Robert Bias
Chief Bias is currently serving his third term in office, elected in April of 2011. Chief Bias was born and raised in Wilburton and has been employed with the Wilburton Police Department (WPD) for a number of years.
WPD consists of 5 full time Police Officers and one Secretary. The department moved from City Hall to its new home at 209 East Main Street the end of September 2018.
The Wilburton Police Department serves the community in all aspects of law enforcement including but not limited to traffic, warrant service and investigations. WPD also serves and works closely with all other local agencies including the Latimer County Sheriff's Office, Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigations, Oklahoma Highway Patrol, and the District Attorney Drug Task Force.
